Be careful if you have any form of State insurance. They will only do the minimum work required. The Dentist charges for the apt. then turns the patient over to a Tech, who's not trained well. If you complain they will retaliate. They...

Shady prognosis- recommeded a tremendous amount of dental work that second opinion said was bogus
I had been a patient for three years and thought the dentist was o.k. until recently. I always got the sense that this was a business more than a Drs. office but it was convenient so I kept going. A few months back I was experiencig a toothake and went to see the dentist literally one month from my last check up (and e-rays) where I wa stold that everything looked great. During this second visit I was told that I needed a root canal and the dentist found three additional cavities.The work would have cost me over $1,000 even with my insurance. I was even pressured to set up an appointment after I told them I would be seeking a second opinion. I went back to my old dentist and he found one leaking cavity that just needed a new filling and nothing else. I will never go back to Hudec. Sounds oftly shady to me.

Disappointed & Out a lot of money
Dr Hudec had a young, inexperienced woman re-doing my filings. During the drilling, she was dropping the drill & tools on my chest and tugging at my mouth. I felt she was doing this to me purposely .. totally rude. After the abuse, she showed me my mouth & my 4 bottom teeth were now extremely white, in fact they were glowing, not matching my other teeth at all. She used the wrong color. So, at that point i asked to see Dr Hudec - he agreed that the color was off so he had another woman come in and remove the fillings again (more drilling) and put new fillings in. Not to mention the Novocain wore off so I needed another round. I was there for 4 hours... I was told It would only take 45mins. 4 hours of lost work, my employer was not happy. And to top off my horrible experience, they sent me a bill for more than what I was told it would be. I had to fight this. I explained to him how I spent the better part of my day there and how I had to go through the drilling twice and 2 rounds of novocain & how the first woman treated me. He put a good fight and finally adjusted the bill.

I called to make sure I was going to be seen , so I could jump on my bicycle. Glad I called. They decided to have a m eeting and close for the day (Friday). Never called me, they say they did. Bull!! I have voice mail. I'm in pain. Rescheduled it for next Tuesday. I Say, "I'm in pain". Oh well. Called me back and said they can get me in on Monday. Ok, I say.
