Local favorite....
Wild Rice offers pan-Asian cuisine in a tranquil setting just off not-so-tranquil 202 in King of Prussia. It's a totally unassuming place in a strip mall, but the food is affordable and delicious.Slipping
With the god awful take-out restaurants (the horrible China King and extremely mediocre China House) that mostly inhabit King of Prussia the opening of Wild Rice was a blessing!!! When it first opening everything was top notch, extremely fresh food, good sized portions, great quality and I ate there quite often. But I don't know if they're cutting costs but there is a noticeable slip quality (not all ingredients seem fresh) and noticeably smaller portions. I love the General Tso's chicken but it can be done perfectly one time and grossly overcooked the next. It is just careless cooking. Another favorite of mine is Happy Family but the seafood has gone from being fresh to what seems to be frozen (limp mushy shrimp, foul tasting lobster). The last order of pot stickers I had were carelessly prepared, fried to the point they were falling apart and tasted like they had been prepared hours ahead of time. It's a shame, there is still hope it can re-find it's original glory.Wild Rice Pan-Asian Restaurant is A Nice KOP Addition
One of the few sushi options in King of Prussia, and not a bad one. Good service, and not super pricey. A nice spot for a sushi dinner if you want to stay local. My Favorite Chinese Restaurant
I have tried many Chinese restaurants in the area and this is the only one I have liked. I recommend the Hunan Shrimp, spicy, with extra sauce. I also like the Lo Mein. Reasonable customer service and they are flexible with adjusting the dishes to your liking.Absolutely Average
After reading the excited reviews from other customers I expected something really special, but we were deeply disappointed. Not that it was bad, it was just an averag chinese restaurant like several dozen other restaurants in that area. This includes the food, the service and the atmosphere.Kick in the balls -Read before attempting!
For a sweet chicken, general chicken, a sprite and small wanton soup we were charged $30 + Tip. The sprite was not delivered ($3), the second order of rice was not included and the small soup was an entire liter($4). When I spoke to the service person she said that the delivery driver is going home for the evening, and she will take off the delivery charge next time ($1.50). After swelling up like a blowfish my girlfriend and I decided why chinese food is America's favorite restaurant. The next time we will split a $9 pizza from Acme and be full for the rest of the evening.Worldwide > United States > King of Prussia, PA > Fast Food Restaurants
