Bad Restaurant with Bad Manners
As someone who frequents and has been very happy with the Four Seasons in Boston, I felt that a trip to the 5757 while in New York was in order. My experience at this restaurant was worse than take out at Taco Bell. Not only was the food not nearly to the standards of the Four Seasons, Boston, but the wait staff, management, and help were all quite rude and unhelpful. They did not cater to the customer as a restaurant of this caliber should. When queried about the quality of the food as well as the service, the management took on the attitude of "Pay your bill and get out of our face." It took a call to the Corporate offices in Canada to get any sort of response to my complaints! This was a truely extraordinarily horrible expereince. I vow to never return.

I didn't eat there, but the bar was great!!! Cocktails are pricey, but hey, it's Four Seasons. The afternoon we went, there was a new bartender training - he was FANTASTIC. We had a great time, and didn't even mind the price tag at the end.

Went on a Thurday night for drinks (expensive, but the martinis are HUGE). Upscale crowd of "desparately-seeking", ie: lots of money in those pockets.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Hotels & Travel
