Easily the best piercers in the area
Hot Rod Body Piercing has two locations in Pittsburgh in Oakland and the South Side. They are clean, skilled, helpful, and one of the only piercing studios in the tri-state area that is a member of the Association of Professional Piercers (APP). That means they have to follow strict guidelines for sterile handling and bloodorne-illness safety.

Great service and piercings in SWPA
I got a prince albert piercing about 2 weeks ago, the piercing was as expected a little painful, but deffinately worth it, it was done in a great freindly enviroment, and the people are deffinately professionals... They are so great with piercings, that is the ONLY service they offer, not tattoo's as well as most places.. the piercing was the same as others on the south side, 90 dollars..... The cost of the body jewelry is the usual piercing cost of the best jewelry... if ur lookin for cheap jewelry order it direct from www.bigdaddystat2.com a 10 gauge curved barbell is like 4-6 dollars, instead of 25......

clean place
They were a very clean place. The people were all nice, and made the experience comfortable. It was a nice atmosphere. They did a good job with the piercing. The pricing was a little higher than most, but being on the safe side is worth it. Definitely would recommend this place.

my lovely industrial
I got my industrial done at the beginning of September, and it was done beautifully by Nick. The place is beautiful and clean, and Nick changed his gloves at least four times.

I got my Industrial done Aug 1 ( two days ago ) and the guys at Hot Rod were awesome. I was so nervouse and they made it super easy on me! Deff go!!!!

I got my tragus done here about a year ago by Gino. He was VERY clean, changed his gloves constantly. He was friendly and made me feel comfortable. He was quick and precise. I still have my piercing and I LOVE it! Will only go here from now on.

BEST piercing spot in pittsburgh
wonderfully sweet, talented, knowledgeable piercers and staff.. good prices, nice jewelry selection [although their oakland shop is bigger and often has more jewelry].. open fairly late [9pm most nights].. definitely the best piercing company in the pittsburgh area, don't go anywhere else..

Highly knowledgable and skilled staff with many years of experience, immaculate studio with friendly and comforting atmosphere, only the highest quality jewelry is offered. I never go anywhere but Hot Rod for my piercings now and I never regret it.

I have never been more comfortable getting pierced, tim and geno are WONDERFUL. They are very thorough with the steps and cleaning and explaining everything so you understand fully. they give you tips on how to handle the pain of the actual piercing and how to treat it afterwards. these guys are the absolute BEST! :)
