Seems sketchy but isn't so bad...
The old Hop n Shop of Oakhurst does seem somewhat sketchy from outward appearances. That location has had its trouble but the guys inside have been nothing but friendly to me. They are definitely customer-oriented and have been known on occassion to help foot part of the bill if I've ever been a little light on change. If I'm ever at home and I find that there's that one extra thing I need... from paper towels, to a Coke, to a snack, to soap... I go check the Hop N Shop.

Don't judge by it's cover
The Hop N Shop doesn't appear to be the best of places to stop but, it is a neighborhood store and the gentlemen who work here are neighborly. They carry most items you can find in a chain store and of course you will pay a little extra for the convenience. Great little shop.

Nice Store
The store is very small and doesn't carry a huge variety of food items. They mostly have what I'd classify as junk food. However, the customer service is superb.
