Not as good as it could be
Situated next to Applebee's, the Hong Kong Buffet when it first opened was a decent Chinese food restuarant. However, over the past few years, the selection and quality has diminished for me to the point that I don't go anymore. There are better choice for Chinese food around the New Hope/Crystal area.Just ok
This place you to have a pretty good buffet. But in the last couples of years they have changed owners and the food has gone down a lot.I still think the green bean dishes are good. They need to clean it up before i go back,OK Chinese
We have been here a few times. It is ok. We have gone as part of a group. Had we been on our own, we would have gone somewhere else. It is ok. Some of the food is pretty good. The restaurant is fairly clean, but I would like to see it a little cleaner. Staff is friendly.terrible food and service
The food was cold and old, and the selection was terrible for the money. The staff was also horribly rude. Upon leaving, I told them that we were unpleased and we would not be back, and the lady told me she appreciated it and she was glad. It was a terrible experience.Terrible food and service
The food was old and cold, and the selection was terrible for the price. The staff was extremely rude. I will not return.Best Chinese Food Ever!!!!!
The secret to getting great food and great service at this place is to go during its non-busy hours. Avoid lunch and dinner times and save this place for the later hours. The atmosphere is much more relaxed at this time and the food is usually steaming hot and the buffet is well stocked. They are, however, often out of cheese stuffed mushrooms, but they usually offer lots of General Tso's Chicken. They food always tastes great, and the fruit options are usually very fresh. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and they are always cleaning. The prices are a little steep, but the food is usually worth it. Take-out is also a convenient option as well, with food priced by the pound. If you don't mind the lunch rush, lunch hour take-out is usually the best value for the money. But be warned: on more than one occasion I have seen one customer take the entire tray of something and the staff will not bring out another tray until that customer has left!!!!!!Worldwide > United States > Minneapolis, MN > Chinese Restaurants
