Great Icing... lackluster cake
I have had several different flavors from Hello Cupcake. They consistently have incredible icing, but the cakes themselves leave something to be desired. The cakes are dry and lack any distinct flavor profile.

Iced Cardboard
I've had better cupcakes in DC. Saw a recent story on television where the owner of Hello Cupcake says her shop set the cupcake trend in DC. Don't think so!

Not Worth It
Went here when it just opened on a Sunday and the cashier had an attitude problem. It's the only cupcake place I've been to in DC where you have to pay extra to put them in the box. Not worth it for a cupcake that's all icing.

A Cute Cupcakery in Dupont
