My Experience at the Store
I went to the store yesterday with a friend who patronizes Helen Hirsch. I was shopping for lingerie but wanted to be measured since I am almost certain that I do not buy the correct fitting bras. My friend approached the woman who had measured her and explained why we were here. The store clerk was uncooperative, Not helpful and very unwilling and basically told us to come back when someone else would be working. Then she proceeded to tell me that all that is required is measuring around my back. needless to say I walked out without making any purchases.

Ignored at Helen Hirsch
I went to Helen Hirsch yesterday to purchase a bathing suit. I knew they were expensive but thought it would be worth the money to have someone help me find a suit that would fit properly. Although the store was empty , the salespeople ignored me!! When I asked for help, I was told to try things on and see what looked good. Needless to say, I walked out of the store with nothing. If I am going to try things on without assistance, I can just as easily go to TJ Maxx and not spend $300 on a bathing suit!!!!

Swimsuit shopping without the cringe!
With very little time to shop, I ran to Helen Hirsch for a suit. I was in and out of the store in record time -- within half an hour! Even though they were busy when I was there, I had no trouble getting prompt help. I worked with the best employee -- Hooray for Dorothy. She was patient, helpful, and OUTSTANDING! She listened to what I wanted, picked out multiple recommendations, and then stuck around to offer me an opinion once I actually put the suits on! This was better than shopping with a girlfriend. She was honest! Dorothy managed to give me a critical opinion for each suit without hurting my feelings or making me feel rushed. I never felt that she had something to gain by pushing something on me, either. She worked hard to find a suit in the style I asked for. Out of all the suits I tried on, I ended up buying the first one she had recommended!! While the suit wasn't cheap (what is, these days?) I have never been so satisfied and confident about the fit and stylin

Mini Whale finds a bathing suit and lingerie at Helen Hirsh
Friendly, helpful and flattering personnel greeted me as soon as I entered the West Orange store. They politely offered my husband a chair and quickly assessed my not so easy to please figure. The individual attention made me feel as if I had a personal assistant. There were several customers in the store who were also given the same courteous treatment. Fitting rooms were clean and spacious. No one counted the number of items carried in and out and sales girls courteously offered to run back and forth to the racks for additional sizes etc. I purchased 2 bathing suits on sale and 2 bras that were a bit pricey. However, Helen Hirsh's sale prices are close to what department stores normally charge. Anita was able to show me several fine suits within seconds and actually made shopping for a plus size bathing suit a pleasant experience. Anita also assisted me in a proper bra fit. She was informative and knew her inventory. A real plus was being shown reduced items prior to the regular pric
