Her incompetence was an outgrowth of her indifference and disrespectful failure (ADA Melissa Heifferon Poole) to call our family as we had requested numerous times from shortly after my son's death on Sept 26, 2009 until August 30, 2013. Four years of salt in the wound for my family. We needed to know that the system was competently doing its duty for Ryan (an Iraq combat vet) in providing competent justice for his life cut short at 22 yrs old. A call was finally returned to us by Poole after MADD's Cynthia Hagain director of the Atlanta office called Poole on our behalf and apparently 'rattled her cage'. When Poole finally called she had already negotiated a plea bargain with defense, yet she was totally unaware of details of the case. She couldn't describe the crime scene, she was unaware that the police crash report had been amended and that the def had a prior DUI within a year of taking my son's life. Shame on Heifferon-Poole; her indifference to show respect of any sort made our family's devastation so much more unbearable. Terry (Ryan's dad) Brady
