Love It!!!
As a sales rep who often takes lunch to clients or provides lunch for office meeting, I always call Ham 'N Goodys.Great for catering and tailgating
When it comes time to throw a party, I often call Ham 'N Goodys. Their party trays are great. I love their rolls with meat, cheese and sweets. They deliver it to my home and the food is ready to eat.Great food, quality service
It is tough to find a lunch place to get your money's worth. However, at Ham 'N Goodys, you can do just that. Their sandwiches are very filling and I always finish it off with something sweet - - lemon cookies or a tea cake or a piece of pie. Simply delicious and it is affordable.Received wrong cake - twice!
I ordered a red velvet cake for a special birthday celebration. I came home with a single-layer red velvet (I ordered a triple) that said Happy Birthday Aaron and ???. Ham & Goody's delivered another cake right before my party. When we cut in to it, it was a carrot cake and not red velvet. Very disappointing. Highly recommend checking and rechecking cake orders before you take them home.A thirty-minute wait for a ham sandwich?
The service was extremely slow. I waited over 30 minutes for a ham sandwich and then requested that my order be prepared "to go," since I had an appointment. It took another ten minutes for the sandwich to be placed in a "to go" bag. If a restaurant is busy and everyone is working to the best of their ability, a lengthy wait is often acceptable. However, this was not the case. I have never seen employees move so slowly. Rather than taking orders and preparing lunches, one lady was sitting down in a chair and very slowly folding cake boxes. Even after I explained that I had been waiting for 30 minutes, there was not an apology or explaination offered by the three employees that I encountered.Ham and Not So Goody's
I work very close to Ham and Goody's and so I have tried my luck with this place more than a few times. I am almost always disappointed. The staff are unhelpful and in my last experience, downright rude. It's completely overpriced (half of a cold sandwich, a cup of soup and a drink runs about $10 with tax, and it's NOT worth it). I recommed going a few hundred feet over to Honeybaked Hams for your lunch. It's more expensive than Subway, but I don't feel jipped after I finish my meal.Best Soups, Cakes, and Cookies!!
Ham 'N Goodies is missed on West End!! Ham 'N Goodies has the very best vegetable soup anywhere! Of course, do not forget a lemon sugar cookie (or 2) for dessert! In addition, our department considers the Ham 'N Goodies cakes a birthday treat for everyone! Our favorites include: carrot cake, chocolate cake, and strawberry cake! Ham 'N Goodies is Highly Recommended!!My favorite caterer found! LunchTime Catering
I was a loyal customer at Ham'n Goodys on West End Ave. I am a sales rep and used them for business lunches. However, late 2006 they were gone, and I was devastated. But I found them, new name new location but better than ever food and catering service. LunchTime Catering is the only place that I use for my sales luncheons. I'm not big on change, but this change was even better for me. Just thought other Ham'n Goodys loyals might apprecitate my discovery. I guess I am giving out my best kept secret.Worldwide > United States > Nashville, TN > American Restaurants
