Excellent Bridal Shop
I was guided to this store by two of my friends' referrals. This was the first shop I went to in my bridal gown search, and the one that I came back to in the end. They have gorgeous styles at incredibly reasonable prices. Ask for Aurora; she's worked there for ten years and is just a sweetheart. The shop made me feel comfortable and didn't even mind me taking pictures.Fun Bridesmaid Dresses - Bad Bad Service
I bought a bridesmaid dress here for my girlfriend's wedding. We liked the prices and the style at this place, so we decided on picking the dress out here. The shop is ok, very reminicent of David's Bridal. Convenient location. I found the customer service to be very annoying. My dress had come in and no one called me to pick it up. I only knew because another bridesmaid had received a phone call. Ordering the dress proved to be a task and a half, since no one would come up front to measure me or ring me up. I had to actually end up calling the store to get an associate to come to the front!Terrible Service, Dirty Dresses!
If you value your happiness, do not shop at Alfred Angelo Beverly Hills. Service is terrible and the sales people are rude(especially after they have your money!). When I picked up my wedding dress after expensive alterations, it was supposed to have been dry cleaned but instead was dirty as if someone had worn it. They were uncooperative in working out the situation too. A terrible and sad experience that I hope no bride or bridesmaid ever has to experience so please don't let the Beverly Hills address fool you. Their service is diabolical and don't bother calling their corporate office or talking to the manager-if you complain about anything then they just treat you like a bridezilla because sadly none of them give a damn.DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!
I'm the maid of honor in my friends wedding who decided to buy her wedding dress at Alfred Angelo in BH. The service we received when we first went to the store was satisfactory but that all went out the window the second they received her money. They conned her into paying $400 for alterations with some nonsense about how the dress is guaranteed. That was the biggest mistake ever! The seamstress, Jasmine, had her dress for 5 months and the bride had nothing but problems every fitting she went to. The first fitting they ignored her for 1.5 hours even though she had an appointment, the second fitting the sales associates at the store gave us all the wrong information and wanted to change her appointment, even though she had scheduled it 4 months in advance, because the seamstress was swamped with new clients. I was at that fitting with her and the only thing that the seamstress needed to do was put some bra cups in, reattach the lace that she had removed to take the dress in and mix theAlfred Angelo Bridal Sucks!
Ok, let me start by saying that I have been to many MANY bridal shops and this one had one of THE WORST representations of customer service - EVER. When we arrived (Bride, Maid of Honor and myself - Bridesmaid) we were not greeted, we were not asked if they could assist in finding dresses and when we needed someone they were nowhere to be found (even though they had 4 or 5 people working and maybe one other customer in the shop). Nobody was around to assist with finding or putting dresses on (i.e. clipping them so they didn't fall off). When we ordered, they didn't mention that they had a $20 off offer going on (luckily I knew and mentioned it). They took our money and shooed us out the door promptly. When the dresses arrived, I received an email because they said my phone number was incorrect and I had 14 days to pick up my dress. First of all, the number I GAVE them was correct - they misread or mistyped it (which isn't surprising seeing as their intelligence level is that of a thirdDO NOT BUY YOUR WEDDING DRESS HERE!!
I bought my dress here in November 2008, a full year before my wedding. Part of why I bought it so early was because there was a floor model that was fantastic, which meant it was 50% off. Being a floor model that had been tried on lots, there was some minor damage (missing beads, a small tear in the lace). The saleswoman I was working with told me that these things would be at no charge and that they would clean the dress at no charge.Worldwide > United States > Beverly Hills, CA > Weddings
