renters beware
Beware of the low move in costs and rent specials. My family lived there for 4 years. The windows are so cheep they mold then freeze in the winter. There is no maintenance during the ice and snow (don't plan on going anywhere). The lower units next to the creek are falling away form the foundation. We wore moved because our unit had settled one inch in 12 months. The second unit was in poor condition but we had no choice and had to move. Then were charged at move out for the poor condition of that unit - $3000.

These apartments were billed as high end to me and I bought in so shame on me. The reality is that they are so cheaply made that drawers don't open, closet doors fall off their tracks, there's no a/c, the fridge is just above dorm size, the outlets are so overused that a plug will not stay plugged in,and windows WILL get covered in mold during the winter- which they will hold you responsible for. If you get the 2 story 3 bedroom don't plan on getting any furniture into the lower level because the stairs are so badly designed the majority of furniture cannot fit. In addition if you think that maintaining your apt in very good condition means you'll get your deposit back you'll be sadly mistaken. I'm thinking this is how they make their profit. Only if you pay to have the apt professionally cleaned will you stand a chance of getting anything back.Worldwide > United States > Portland, OR > Apartments
