Great Veterinary clinic
I just bought a yorkie a week ago and they recommended this vet. I have been there twice since. The first for a checkup and then for kennel cough. Since I was there 2 days earlier I wasn't charge a dime for the second visit and the pet store picked up the costs of the medicines! The vet was very helpful and caring towards my puppy. She walked through all the things I needed to do to take care of him and they even give your dog a treat. I actually bought some to take home because it was the only treat I could find my puppy will eat.

great veterinary clinic
Puppy never afraid to enter the veterinary clinic. He loves the staff there and they are always friendly and gentle with him. Even after all his initial puppy shots, he still loves going to the vet. They give him treats each time he goes and tell him what a great dog he is. The prices are reasonable for vet services. Very friendly staff!

These good folks took care of our terrier Jack for about 10 years. Jack had a fair number of medical problems and the vets and assistants at Bay Beach, particularly Dr. Key, were wonderful with him. Kind, talented and capable people, we highly recommend them.

Excellent Loving Care
I have lived in Va.Bch. for almost 40years and have always had dogs. Having tried many veterinary practices over the years I highly recommend Bay-Beach. I have two Beagles and really appriciate the excellent care the doctors and tech's give. They are gentle and have plenty of dog sense in making them comfortable. This practice is also reasonably priced. My married children also live here and all three families are very happy with Bay-Beach. I know Dr. Honaker and Dr. Key the best but they are all very good.

Over Priced
They were way over priced. I waited 2 hours for my scheduled appointment because they over book all the time. I thought this was t.he norm until I switched vets

Depends on who you get...
we have been taking our two pups there since we got them. we were referred by friends. the last time we came in, we waited almost 45 minutes to be seen even though we had an appointment. Today, we took our pup in and waited 40 minutes to be seen with an appointment. The tech trimmed my pups nails and cut 4 of them down to the kwik. one wouldnt stop bleeding. meanwhile she proceeded to tell us how we need to grab the dog in chokehold if he wont be still for us. we had to see a different dr also though i am not quite sure why...but she had no idea what was going on with my pup. she didnt even realize that he was there for a shot until she looked at his chart at the last minute. my pup still has ear mites after already being on a treatment for it. he now has to take yet another one. the tech scared him so bad with the nail trimming that he pooped on the floor and she had the nerve to say to me snottily that i should probably take him outside. boy i would have liked to give her a piece of my mind! bottom line, Dr. Kee is awesome and I pray you never get the vet tech we had!Worldwide > United States > Virginia Beach, VA > Veterinarians
