Glad to go ELSEWHERE!!!
I inquired about TGM's boarding services because I was interested in using them for my 2 dogs the next two weekends that I will be away. They are closed on Sundays, and refused to set up a pick up time so I could bring my dogs home on...Never again
I took my dogs there in 2007. I have a male and female basset hounds and my female had a litter of 5 pups. Golden Mile was the only kennel that would take mom & the pups. I was quoted $350 for 7 days. First they requeste my dogs medical...Total confidence
I have been allowing Dr. Eccleston to provide medical care for my cats for almost (20) years. I first found out about Dr. Eccleston when he was running the Lansdowne Animal hospital , and found out immediately how much he cared with providing the best care possible for whatever my cats needs were. The doctor takes the time to talk with you or to meet with you to explain whatever the problems or needs are for your pets. He will explain with you what he feels are the best options are to deal with those problems or needs. He works with you because he really cares for your pets health and well being. The doctor cannot always provide miracles, but he does come close in those extreme times of need. I have total faith that Dr. Eccleston will provide my cats with his utmost care and you will too. I hope Dr. Eccleston will be caring for animals for many years to come, because he is the one I want taking care of mine.Good Vet BUT.....
The doc is a good vet,Top of the line
I lost my lab recently after having her for nearly 13 years all spent with the absolutely delightful Dr. Eccleston and his wonderful staff. This lab could find trouble like no ones business including swallowing a sewing needle and three fox tails up her nose as well as the usual weight problems, flea problem etc. The last six months of her life we spent fighting cancer. It would have been a totally different experience without Dr Eccleston and his staff. If you are lucky enough to become his patient or your pet is lucky enough- grab the chance. He is the most impressive medical person I have ever met.Never again
I took my dogs there in 2007. I have a male and female basset hounds and my female had a litter of 5 pups. Golden Mile was the only kennel that would take mom & the pups. I was quoted $350 for 7 days. First they requeste my dogs medical records, which I supplied, and claimed that my dogs needed additional shots. When we returned to pick them up I was told that my female had developed an infection and needed anti-biotics for it. To make a long story short the initial quote of $350 ballooned to $600, my female returned home 30 lbs lighter and needing medication, and my male developed a throat infection that required additional treatment and money. Golden Mile is very close to my home but I'll never use them again. Their vet actually started sending my threatening post cards stating that I am required by law to have my pet's rabies shots up to date and he would report me if I didn't bring them to him for their shots. The problem I have with that is I have a vet that I regularly go to. I oGlad to go ELSEWHERE!!!
I inquired about TGM's boarding services because I was interested in using them for my 2 dogs the next two weekends that I will be away. They are closed on Sundays, and refused to set up a pick up time so I could bring my dogs home on that day! Most people need to board their dogs over the weekend, and would want to pick their dogs up when they get back, which is usually Sunday! How could they expect me to be OK with me leaving my dogs locked up in a cage for an additional night while I am sleeping at home a half a mile down the street? If they have people coming in to feed and walk the dogs, they could arrange for pet parents to pick up their dogs as well. They are also closed on Labor day, which means I wouldn't be able to pick my dogs up until 2DAYS AFTER I return from my trip!!! The receptionist wasn't at ALL friendly when I stopped in to discuss these concerns. This place doesn't seem like they have compassionate, understanding staff, and I am glad I did not trust to leave my dogBark up the right tree
