Great Selection
I've shopping for years at Gefer Farms on San Fernando/Alameda and paid a visit to the newer store. It is much bigger and offers many items that are unavailable at the smaller one. Although the staff is not as friendly, it still has the reasonably priced and fresh produce, deli and meat. They also offer cooked dishes that are made daily, as well as a bakery. THis location is more of a stripmall with a few stores operating within the grocery store, such as a cell phone store, gift shop, rugs, jewelry, and more.

Horrible Service
The reason I visited this grocery store was because of its proximity to my house, however after only a few visits their lack of customer service and blatant discrimination totally sent me back to the chain supermarkets. Their prices aren't fantastic, however they should make up for that in customer service, but if your not Armenian you are going to have to wait while every other Armenian speaking customer is serviced at the Deli and Meats section. Even with a numbering system the employees skip over you to help the Aremenian customers. I have lived in Glendale twenty years and have never been treated with such outward rudeness.
