I love this joint. It's really a diamond in the rough. Glitzy rough, but rough. The atmosphere is somewhere between Vegas and Tijuana. It's always clean and in the summer the air conditioning rivals that of the arctic. The service is great and the bartender/waitresses are always there with a smile (and beautiful ample cleavage). I especially like the peanuts they offer you which is a real throw back to the old days, I guess, when most bars did that. It really makes for a rarely seen hospitible environment. Also, the craziest thing I've ever seen in a bar, if you'd like they will bring out a dish of whatever homemade food they are offering that day, FOR FREE! It changes daily, there is chicken soup, beef soup, shrimp soup, tacos, etc. It makes no sense how they can make money with such cheap drink prices and a special they always have: a beer with an added shot of tequila for only $1!! The owner Pepe is always there with a friendly hello and say hi to Daisy and Lillie. Lots of locals but hurry before all the hipsters find it!Worldwide > United States > Los Angeles, CA > Bars
