Giuseppe's pizza
I ate the whole Tuscana pizza in one meal, and could of ordered another for my refridgerator. Overlydecorated with extreme holiday flowers and Christmas trees and tic a tac frick frack everywhere. Not a Chain Something Unique!
Beautiful Decorations, Large orders of food, Huge Menu, Surprising Wine List. Unique place that is a must visit for Colorado Springs!Terrible Banquet
Boxed prepared artifical food, mushy pastas, cold lousy banquet food for the money.not the best.....
It was a mixed bag tonight. I took parents of a friend of mine who were visiting from the east. The food really could have been better, we each got something different. So some people had a great dinner and some of us did not. We ate at 630 but by then they were already out of grilled veggies, but they did have steamed!?! The Cordon Bleu with Rissoto....the Rissotto was horrible. I had the New York Strip while it was very tender, it was not so tasty. The bread served with the meal was simply stale and cold.atmosphere good, food awful
We dined at Guiseppe's for the first time today. I had read the reviews prior to coming to this restaurant and was very skeptical as most of the reviews were not very good, however we came with a group of people and decided to give it a go. Stick to the basics here. I had a salad, which was ok. The Margarita pizza was the worst pizza I ever had in my life. The dough tasted like refrigerated dough, it was totally raw in the middle, no sauce just canned tomatoes on top. My stomach is still recovering from it. My husband had a club sandwhich. I had to get up and pour more tea for him as we couldn't get anyone's attention for a refill. Forget dessert, no way was I venturing there. Really pretty place, but not worth the drive from Denver.Guiseppes
Try not to get too hungry going there.Best new menu and look
I have been a customer for 25+ years. Over the last few years the food was ok but not great. I went in last night and back again tonight with seperate groups of friends. The new menu is great. The food was great. We all had new and old dishes and everything was great. We love the new look and service was wonderful. The new deserts are worth going in just to eat them. My best to the new chef and owners.Good salad bar
My husband and I had not been to Guiseppe's for many years and decided to try the new menu. I ordered the Grilled sausage entree, which was cooked in way too much olive oil. I was sick the rest of the day from the meal, which I could only eat a small amount of. My husband ordered the steamed mussels, which were good, but the linguini was broken in half instead of left whole, making it difficult for him to twirl it on his fork. As a result, he had splatters on his shirt from the meal. The salad bar is great with lots of toppings to choose from. For Italian food, Carrino's is a much better choice.Bad service/meteocre food/ overpriced menu/great atmosphere!
I have been going to this once great restaurant since 1994, and always enjoyed the food, the passing trains, and the old time atmosphere. I have gone to Giuseppe's with my family for every special occassion I can think of. I have gone their for every pre-deployment dinner to Iraq and Afghanistan, every Birthday celebration, all four times to celebrate my various college graduations, and even to have my small bachelor's party there with my family and friends.Worldwide > United States > Colorado Springs, CO > Italian Restaurants
