Most Authentic and Best Japanese Cuisine
The first truly authentic Japanese Restaurant to open in Chicago, originally at O'Hare, now in River North. Ambience is Classic Japan, not your US-Retread copy. Food -- including Sushi -- is truly exquisite. They have Japanese Authentic and American selections to accommodate all, including children. Lunch and dinner are equally good values, but... sitting at the classic-Japanese Sushi Bar and chatting with Yoko-San (Owner and Chef) is thes best!!

My favorite
I Love Ginza. This place hasa very traditional Japanese feel, I know this because I lived in Japan for TWO years. It is not too small nor too big. The staff is all Japanese and great you accordingly. They even have Traditonal rooms with Tatami mats. The chefs are great, and i think it is Chicagos best kept Sushi secret. Great date spot the for the casual date.

Tasty & Authentic Japanese food!
I've been going to this restaurant for 2 years, and I love this place! My friends and I have lunch at Ginza once a week coz there's always something special on the menu, whether it's cold buckwheat noodle with fried rice, or the special nori bento. The reason why we go there so often is probably because the food is so authentic and very traditional, compared to the other fancy Japanese restaurants in downtown. So basically, Ginza is recommended for people who enjoy the real Japanese food, its old-style ambience, and of course, fresh and delicious sushi!

Tokyo heart
After reading the other reviews, I decided to take my Japanese best friend to Ginza, and she LOVED it. She couldn't get over the ambiance and coziness of the restaurant, and she adored the small touches that most American Japanese restaurants lack - a goldfish for good luck by the door, free tea after dinner, and dishes on the menu she only sees in Tokyo.

Best Japanese Grilled fish in Chicago
Ginza has the best grilled fish in the city. Their rice in tea soup is excellent too. I take one star off because the sushi is not fresh enough for me. Parking: If u purchase $20 from Jewel, your parking will be reduced down to $10.00, probably is the best choice.
