Always Worth a Visit
Anything from a toilet plunger to the perfect houswarming gift. Ace is the Place. This locally owned business offers nearly one-stop shopping -- except for groceries, of course. It's the perfect destination store for home and garden needs. They even sell school supplies. The salespersons wear headsets and are well informed; help is available in any department. Staff is very helpful and everyone makes you feel welcome. Their flagship store is located near Thriftway in downtown Gig Harbor. It's much more crowded and not nearly as comfortable for shopping. So, if you need a wedding present or garden supplies, check out Ace -- no need to drive to The Mall.

Worst Online Experience Ever-Ace Hardware, Pt Fosdick, Gig Harbor
After much research I found the model of Carpet Cleaner that I wanted. It was available through either Best Buy or Ace, however Ace had a slightly lower price AND offered free shipping to one of their stores. I chose the Ace Hardware on Pt Fosdick in Gig Harbor although I live in Tacoma, it was closer. I went to the store to pick up the item and though they had the item they refused to give it to me unless I had a print out of my order. I explained that I did not have a printer in an effort to create less paper waste in our community. She called the manager to ask if I could pick it up with my Drivers License for ID and the original credit card charged for the purchase. His response was a flat NO, without further discussion. When I asked where I could get a printout they told me to go to Kinkos and have it printed and bring it back. I had no choice but to leave. Only after I left did I realize that I would not have to pay a toll, $3.00, not once, but twice. This coupled with running ar

ace really is the place in gig harbor washington
i have shopped at gig harbor ace for years. the staff is always friendly and helpful. i did however learn from them that ace.com is not part of this store. it is completely seperate from them. so i found you go in the store as i do and get great service and informative hellp. or you can go to your computer ace.com site who ever owns that and get flustrated, and disgusted as i tried only once never again. gig harbor ace is my place not ace.com who ever you are. teresaWorldwide > United States > Gig Harbor, WA > Lumber & Building Supplies
