The Worst Experience Ever
I have been relaxing my hair for 15 years and have had the worst experience ever. The stylist at this salon are not only inexperienced in hairstyling but also customer service. I asked the stylist and the owner (who is supposed to be a master hairstylist) if my relaxer would take due to the fact I had sensitive scalp they assured me it would. Not only did the stylist not know after applying a relaxer you wash the hair at-least twice she decided to scratch my scalp and pull on my hair while combing it. Which you don't have to be a stylist to know that can cause breakage because the hair is in a sensitive state. Once I noticed my stylist did not know what she was doing. I asked the owner to help me. She tried but she only made my hair look worse and gave me excuses as to why my hair looked a mess. I asked the owner for a discount because my hair was under processed,dry and brittle. She told me no and called the police because she was to concerned with getting paid not the happiness of he

I am a Client of Ms. DeBora of Xplicit hair Salon and I just saw the negative review by a dissatisfied Client!! I am very disappointed in..Kathryn. After reading it, I just want people to know it is sad when someone comes into a Salon for Hair advice, does not listen to the Stylist recommendations, then complains about the results of what they insisted on. I have referred numerous Clients to Xplicit and they have been very happy. DeBora is very accommodating and knows her business thrives on referrals and satisfied Clients. She will give you her opinion on what she believes is best for your hair type, and condition of your hair. I had never encountered any negative incidents until, Kathryn's visit.DeBora's work has been featured in Black Passions hair magazine, and I am sure they are not randomly chosen. We need to be lifting our Black Business Owners up, instead of trying to degrade them and tear them down!
