I am a long time resident and while the place has never been great it has been in steady decline for quite a few years. Many of the tenants are extremely loud and garbage can be found all around the property (both inside and out). ...

ok i lived here for awhile before buying my house. its horrible! management is nice enough, but dont do anything to solve the problems. there are lots of dirty and messy people here. the are loud at all hours of the day, all night long. there is people getting evicted all the time, so free stuff in the dumpsters if you want. there are extra people living in several units. there dumpsters are always overflowing. about the only good thing is theres lots of parking, which is usually a problem at apartment complexes. avoid!!

good place to get started
When we first moved to Washington, we needed a place to live. So we rented a 1000 square foot apartment at Evergreen apartments. The staff was very nice and accomodating. They even let us get out of our lease early when we found a home we fell in love with. The apartment itself is unfurnished, but had a real woodburning fireplace and washer and dryer in the unit. They allowed us to have our cats with a small pet deposit and it was refunded along with our formal deposit when we moved out. The staff worked very hard to resolve a difference we had with our downstair neighbor. He thought we were too noisy with our newborn baby. Jerk.
