EPL is not part of Sno-Isle
The Everett Public Library is NOT part of the Sno-Isle system. The Sno-Isle system is a separate system. There is not an agreement that allows patrons of one system to check out material from the other. If an Everett or a Sno-Isle patron...No fees on books, big selection, very fancy decorations
Well, if this was a store, it would be the flagship location...it seems way too fancy for the little podunk town it's in. There are no overdue fines except that videos and DVDs are a dollar a day late. The attached parking garage is city-owned, but the library seems to think they own it, which is fine, because their security patrols it. It's annoying that you have to wait in line again after your once-a-year your card needs renewed. The information desk upstairs is staffed by really nice folks.average at best
a lot of remodel done, especially in the lobby. theres good displays and they have a coffee stand inside. theres also on-street parking and a parking garage attached to the library. located just north of the downtown core its easy to find. standard collection of books and computers and materials, probably a little smaller than most libraries. Main con is there is always people hanging around outside, kids and bums and transients. Its located near a high school and bus stations so that doesnt help.Read Me
This library is part of the extended sno isle library system in snohomish county. I believe it is one of the largest, at least the largest of those I have been inside. Its is a nice building with alot of materials to check out. But if you live outside of everett city limits you have to pay to check out items at this library or you are forced to go to a library closer to your residence which I can understand somewhat but again if I am down in that area and would like to pick up a book and this whole system of libraries are connected then I should be able to without paying. Staff is nice, they have alot of programs for childrens such as story and craft times, internet usage etc. They have a large parking garage, kind of scary really if you ask me! but there is parking on the street, and the transient issue has gotten a little better since the bus depot moved to another part of the city. Downtown is looking nicer and nicer these days and that is where the library is located! Not part of Sno-Isle library system.
Everett Public library (and the Evergreen branch) are the only public libraries in Snohomish and Island counties that are NOT part of the Sno-Isle library system! Everett Public is a municipal library that serves the population living within the city limits of Everett. If you live outside Everett, you must pay a fee ($100 annually) to join, whereas Sno-Isle offers free membership to anyone in WA who lives in an area that is taxed to support a library.Worldwide > United States > Everett, WA > Public Services & Government
