Right place for acne and scar treatment, recommend it.
I started to come for facial treatments at Essential Skin Care in April 07. I have to say, my acne problem bothered me for a very long time and I could never find something, or some treatments that would really solve this problem util I came here. After only 2 treatments my acne were all gone and I could start doing microdermabrasion starting the 3rd visit to treat my acne scars. Two more sessions down, my skin looks radiant and I haven't even finish my package yet. Essential Skin Care really solved my skin problem. THANK YOU!Cheap pricing, inconsistent service, persistently pushing products
I went there for a facial and was really happy with the service. (Maybe because they want to reel you in). I was asked if I want to buy a package of 6 treatments and I agreed because it was a good deal. Just be aware that during facial they will asked you if you want to purchase additional service for example cold cream to put on your face for additional charge and you can say no. I try several different girls and some are better than others but there is this one girl I hate. Unfortunately I can't remember her name. She persistently pushed products to me and ended buying them and regretting it. I returned some of them on my next visit which happen to be my sixth and never return ever since. My advice is you can try them because they service are not that bad but just be strong not to fall prey on anything ang everything they push you to buy.Gets Results
Before going to Essentials, I had never had a facial. I didn't have major acne, but I wanted to take care of some blackheads on my forehead and nose that I couldn't get rid of with over the counter products. I went to Essentials for the first time in December 2007 for a facial that was advertised for $40. I ended up leaving with a package for 5 more facials and a ton of very expensive product. At first I walked out feeling like I was crazy to spend so much more money than I originally planned, but after seeing how much clearer and brighter my skin looked, I knew I made the right choice. What really hooked me was when I ran out of the product and went back to using the over the counter stuff, the blackheads came back right away. I will admit that they do push you to purchase more, but you just have to know what you want and be firm. I have had a couple of facials already and I only need to go once every couple of months, as long as I follow my skincare regimen at home. I recommend Madeline. She's knowlegdable, efficient and friendly.Awesome
I have only been there once, but I plan on going back again and again. I went last week for microdermabrasion and a peel. I got a lot for my money and the staff was great. I have major skin problems such as clogged and enlarged pores and acne. I've only had one treatment and I noticed a major difference. I highly recommend this spa.Great for your money
I have been a loyal client to Essential Skin Care for about a couple of months now. I came in with acne and splotches on my face that I just wanted to go away. They gave me: 6 Microdermabrasion with Facial, 6 alpha peel, 6 lightening treatments, 4 high frequency, and free herbal masks for like 1200 bucks. I know it sounds liek a lot but do the math, usually salons charge you 200 for micro!Spare yourself, your skin and money
last i went, i got a microdermabrasion facial. they obviously didn't know or care (or both) in what they were doing. immediately after the session, they pushed me to sign up for their package that requires an upfront installment payment.Wonderful first time experience at Essential.
A close friend of mine referred me to this place at Union Square before. But I never had a chance to visit. It's online special offered by Essential got my attention finally. I went in for 60 mins Antiwinkle treatment. I've been reading their reviews online which are quite mixed. People are complaining about the staff pushed the sales too much. So I was kinda worried they were going to do that to me. But apparently they took the advice and responded to that. During the whole 60 mins service, I was only politely asked once about whether I'm interested in getting the recommended skin care products I should at home. I got this profession brand "Skin Element" facial wash and toner which I never heard before. I've been using them for two weeks, it's quite effective on my skin.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Massage Therapy
