The Classic BU Student Haunt
What can I say? Good coffee, bagels, and assorted specialty drinks. "Hip," but with a very relaxed and unpretensious vibe, and a good place to study unless you run into people you know. You'll find pretty much any BU student (and some faculty) here at one time or another, and some never seem to leave. Some tips: when fresh, the heklas (Icelandic cinnamon rolls) are to die for (and apparently unique to this location), and if you're around at closing, you can almost always pick up some free goodies (though it helps to be quick on your feet).Love their cappucino
I just recently transferred to BU and happened across ERC almost by accident and am addicted. They make the most delicious cappucino I have had in a long time. They have completely turned me off of Starbucks. They also make really yummy bagel sandwiches and have an overwhelming array of to-die-for brownies.Delicious spanish lattes and bagels
Love the spanish latte here. I didn't like the bagels when I first went 2 years ago, but I think their pastries have changed since then? Anyways, I love their bagels now, and it's pretty cheap. The music is always original (I think the staffers get to choose the tunes), and the atmosphere is so funky and cool and conducive to some relaxing while studying. I think you need to know a certain password to hack the wifi, though). The staff is also SUPER friendly! However, they don't exactly hustle to get orders out, so give yourself at least 5-10 minutes to get your food/drink, even if you're not planning on staying.Worldwide > United States > Boston, MA > Cafes, Coffee, and Coffee Houses
