Elli's Restaurant

This is a high class diner with a wide variety of food avaialbe. There is an indoor and outdoor seating area. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. Food is good and the prices are a little higher than I would have expected.

Much better than the Lyon's restaurant that was there.

Above average diner with decent food, nice atmosphere (sit in the semi-enclosed outdoor patio!), and friendly service (they got rid of the mean old hag that was haunting the Lyon's).

They seem to have a very wide variety of food here, including Italian (Pizzas and Pastas), Mexican-American (Enchiladas, Burritos, and Chimichangs), and even a dabbling of Southern, Cajun, and Middle Eastern items. Though the food isn't exciting, it is well-prepared and the servers are spot on, paying careful attention to your beverages and bringing condiments and whatnot.

The dessert offerings are large, tasty (most seem homemade, not franchised / outsourced), and decadent. I've drooled at the Snicker's Cheesecake, Deep Dish Peach Pie, and Apple Betty Bread Pudding my friends ordered, while I tortured myself with my runner's diet.

Friendly service, comfort foods!

I like Elli's for breakfast--the staff is friendly, the food is great. I love the french toast with their homemade pecan butter--it's delicious! Sometimes it gets a little busy for the servers, and you may wait a bit for food, but it's well worth the wait. The eggs benedict, omelets, and egg dishes are all excellent. My only complaint is that the coffee isn't strong enough, but that's not enough to keep me from driving 12 miles for their breakfast! This is a great family restaurant.

Go, you will be glad you did

Nice patio dining available. Homemade potato chips and yummy old fashion root beer floats! I think there is one in Monterey somewhere also.
