Best Sangria in Town!
El Paso Cafe is the best Mexican Restaurant in Mountain View. The Sangria is great along with Steak Fajita Tacos & the Waco Salad. They have burgers & hot dogs too, for the finicky eaters. JC & his wife, Leonora, and son Carlos treat us like family every time we eat there. The prices are good and they have terrific margaritas. This hole in the wall rocks!
Best Mex around. However, the ownership just changed..lets see what happens. There is nice outside seating out back. The New Mexico Chile Verde is good (not really what they serve in NM, however).Great cafe
One of my favorite places to eat in Mt. View. The Fajita tacos and the mini super burrito are the best! Great patio in the back for sipping margaritas on a warm afternoon! Why do we have to pay for salsa?
I liked the food. It was great. My girlfriend brought me there and I really enjoyed it! The place is small and tends to get a bit crowded. It's a little pricier than a typical taqeria but well worth it. My biggest gripe is as the title states: Why do we have to pay for salsa? I mean the chips are free and all you can eat so why can't they just throw in the salsa? Come'on....don't get cheap on us now...especially when we're paying at least $7 for two tacos.great texmex joint!
Great local joint. Fantastic salsa (though you have to pay for it). Burritos that hang off the plate and make you hang off the table if you finish it. My favorite is the chicken taco salad. Something about that sauce...The best TEX MEX EVER!!!
I must admit this place is really good. Its as close as your going to get to authentic texan food. I recomend this place they have 7 dollar pitchers, and discounts for students like me yeeeeeeeeeeahSo long... EPC
As a long time customer patient through an ownership change, I finally had the last straw tonight. Besides the fact that the quality of food has gone down hill (how much chicken should be on chicken nachos to actually qualify them as "chicken" nachos? Is the only rule of thumb in choosing a ripe tomato is that you can drag a knife through it? Last I checked hard unripe tomato rind wasn?t an ingredient in salsa)! The new, pushier, sandwich board outside and fish specials have surely taken away from the old ?we love our customers? vibe.WORST... EXPERIENCE... EVER.
VWORST... EXPERIENCE... EVER. I never have written a bad review for any restaurant, but this one REALLY deserves it! STAY AWAY.Worldwide > United States > Mountain View, CA > Cafes, Coffee, and Coffee Houses
