After a big hunt in South Central Texas I sent my deer head home with the owner of DropTine Taxidermy to have it European Mounted. He told me it would be ready in 8 months. After not hearing from him I called left messages for him that he neglected to answer for over a month. 10 months after the deer was killed I finally got my mount back with half of the face was broken off. I contacted him to file an insurance claim with UPS and he responded quickly. I got all the info to UPS and UPS told me they would pay the claim. The owner kept both my money I paid and the insurance money from UPS. He claims that after it left his shop he was't held responsible for the mount. The mount was not attached to the board properly along with the teeth and eye socket on one side of the deer being broken off. The box has 0 damage to it and parts of the face just crumbled to the touch. I am going to have have just the horns mounted now.
