Wow.. previous poster must be an employee. I have been a firearms owner for over 30 yrs. Don's is know in the community for very high prices. Their range is dark without any heat or air. The lighting is suitable for low light training....

Friendly, knowledgeable, good range
Don's Guns is an above average indoor public shooting range. I have neither sold nor purchased guns at Don's so I can't comment on that. However, pricing on range ammo is very competitive (towards the cheaper end in the area). I have never waited for an open lane, either. Range is maintained well; it has always been relatively clean, nothing has ever been in disrepair (in other words, it's safe). The staff is always friendly, receptive to questions, and has patience with the gun non-expert.

The actions of these shooters would make any gun owner not want to be on the range with them..

Worst place to buy a gun
Dons is the worst place to buy a gun. The prices are the highest anywhere. The sales people are arrogant and rude. Don's Guns prey on the first time gun buyer by advertising his store and getting people who don't know how much a gun costs to over pay for their product. Every time I go to the range I feel like some urban youth banger is going to shoot me with his Hipoint that he bought for $499 and can't get to function. Go anywhere but Don's.

dons should be called cons - what a joke
i have stopped in dons a couple times and called a few times and they are, hands down, the most rude and arragant people you will ever deal with. not sure if they just dont like their job and minimum wages or if they just cant stand being alive and having to work for such an idiot like don. they are never willing to talk to you like , not only a human, but customer who is trying to help them keep them in business. i dont know why they think they are so special because they are not. there are lots of other places to buy a gun and i would never give 'ol donny my money. maybe when he kicks the bucket in the next few years this place will change for the better . cause it cant get any worse. dont waste your time and please dont waste your money.Worldwide > United States > Indianapolis, IN > Hunting and Fishing
