Long time family restaurant
Don Ernesto's has been in San Marcos for what seems like forever. It's family owned and operated and the food is very good, freshly made and served hot. I especially like their fish and seafood.

Don Ernie's Ain't There No More!
A place I've been going to since high school and took two family generations to has closed. In late 2010 they announced that they had sold the San Marcos property and were "searching for a new location." It is February 7, and no location has been revealed. We left a phone number and email to be apprised of the new opening, but nothing but silence right now. We are getting HUNGRY!
