Resonable prices of outstanding food
I really like going to Daddy Jack's. They have wonderful steak and seafood, and my absolute favorite is the house salad with hearts of palm and sun-dried tomatoes. My partner and I will often get the surf and turf along with two salads, and it's more than enough food. Daddy Jack's recently added an outdoor patio, and when the weather is nice, and the sun is going down it's a great place to enjoy the atmosphere of downtown Fort Worth.Mmmm Lobster!
Having grown up on the Gulf Coast, I am opposed to ordering seafood inland, but I make an exception at Daddy Jack's. Their one pound lobster special Mon-Wed nights is a great way to kick off the week!Good food - bad parking
Daddy Jacks is a great place for lunch. They have nice sized portions that will not only fill you up but won't leave you broke. The only limitation of this place is parking around lunchtime during the week. Parking is scarce downtown and valet is a bit expensive.Daddy Jacks Lobster & Chowder - Fort Worth, TX.
Always ask for steak sauce. They did make their version of it, but I didn't use it at all. The steak was so good I ate it without sauce!Pretty Good!!
Great Food. I had the shrimp and the baked potato. I never have baked potatoes, but this was one of the best baked potatoes I've ever had.Great Lobster!
The Lobster is fantastic. If you're looking for seafood downtown, there should be anywhere else you should go. This place is the best, hands down.Lobster was a dissapointment
The hotess and the bartender were very friendly; wait time was not long. We started with claws for an appetizer with a garlic butter sauce-it was really good, which is why we were so disappointed when the main entree arrived. We split a 14oz lobster tail. I don't know if it wasn't cooked all the way or if it was old-but there was an after taste that is similar to brie cheese crust that is too old-very acidic. I have never in my life sent anything back, but with this I did. I was afraid that eating it might make us sick. They sent it back and gave us another lobster-which had a very different texture to it-but the flavor wasn't much better. We actually left lobster on our plate. The waiter tried to make ammends and offered a key lime pie for us to share-didn't quite make up for our expereince. We don't plan to go back:(Worldwide > United States > Fort Worth, TX > Seafood Restaurants
