Crowley's really is a family restaurant if you go early.
Crowley's is exactly what it claims to be: a family restaurant (as long as you go early since later things become a little rowdier). The food is burgers, sandwiches, great onion rings, stir-fried veggies, a daily entree special, etc. We've been eating there a couple of times a month for years and usually get to know the wait staff by name. There's no real atmosphere, but it really is a place where you have the sense that everybody knows your name. Dinner for two of us -- soup or salad, sandwiches, and drinks, usually runs $30-40 including tip.

Terrible experience. My wife and I got sat promptly but the servers kept walking by us. Finally got our drink order, manager said it was on the house. two tables by us complained about their meals so we decided to pay for the one round and leave. Manager/owner chased us out in the parking lot yelling that we did't pay. completely unorganized.

Where everybody knows your name...
Crowleys is a wonderful neighborhood restaurant / bar serving reliable / quality food in a friendly atmosphere. My husband has been coming to Crowleys for 20 years - I am a relative newcomer with only 4 years under my belt. You can't miss with the ribs - what a great value. Everytime my father is in town we have to visit Crowleys for a slab of ribs. The nachos are amazing, the salads fresh and burgers are right. This place is perfect for a family dinner or to hang out and watch a game. Don't let the appearance fool you - try it and you too will be a regular.

Good all-around place to eat
Not fancy, but clean. Great wait staff. Variety of menu, all made from scratch. You will get noisy kids, ball game fans, families, couples, small groups - it can suit them all. I find the place good for a midday meal or an evening out. Have yet to be disappointed. We had a group of about 20 last time I was there, and we all ended up being served at the same time and not one person complained about their meal. If you are a non-smoker, the smoking and non-smoking can overlap because the bar is in the middle. Has a great lounge room with leather sofas and chairs for folks wanting a quieter room to watch TV or chat. Great place to go with friends.

The food is terrible and it is an awful place for a non-smoker, the bar is in the middle and the lung cancer crowd is smoking and it goes everywhere.

Best Ribs, Best Bar Scene, Best Mixed Drinks, Best Service
I love Crowley's on Medlin. It is the best place. It's like cheer's its the place where everyone knows your name. Come on in and get to know everyone. The wings are excellent, but the ribs are to die for. It is a chillaxed atmosphere but with an awesome menu! However, if you want to get a little crazy come on Tuesday, karaoke night! You can pretend you are the lead singer of Journey or the backup dancer for J Lo. Whatever your heart desires.
