I have had a terrible experience working with Mike. Right from the beginning he was demanding, and told me all of the things he could do, but would not pull a permit. That should have been my first clue to stay away. But I did not, I was enticed by his low price. We to rehabs of houses and had Mike Winterfeldt at Creative Repair Services do a recharge of an air conditioning unit. It went OK and we thought we would give him a chance to do a complete install on another house we were working on. Mike want 1/2 up front and the remainder when completed. We were OK with that. We sent Mike Winterfeld at Creative Repair Services over $900 and told him to go ahead with the job. There was a mistake with the code to get into the house for Mike to do the work and he went off the deep end. He wrote the most insulting email that was very unprofessional and demanded that we pay him the second the job was completed. We stated that we wanted to make sure the unit ran for 48 hours before payment would be made. Mike said that would not work and told us to pick up the equipment at his location. I tried multiple times to get a hold of creative Repair Serves in New Prague, MN to pick up the air conditioning unit that we paid for and just move on. Then a week Later and we were told by Mike that he returned the unit and would return a partial payment minus his expenses for running around. Against our better judgement I said OK, because we just wanted to move on. Then he never returned any money and will not contact me at all. Stay away from this man and his business. He is a totally out of control person without any sence of what is right. I know upfront I made a mistake, but felt like I bent over backwards and he did nothing but steel $900 from me.
