Do not, and I repeat, do not get your contacts from Contex. I lost a lens and since Gary Stoyan was a friend of a friend I opted to get the replacement lens from Contex, his company. It took him forever to get the lens as he demanded that I get these measurements and some type of graphic from my eye doctor. He refused to accept the measurements that the eye doctor had on file. So, after more than a month of waiting I finally got the lens. From the start the lens did not feel comfortable but Gary said to give it a chance. The lens would easily pop out of my eye. Despite telling Gary that I was having problems he did not offer any solutions. One day the lens popped out of my eye while I was applying mascara. I asked for a replacement and didn't even get a discount on the replacement. About 6 months ago, the same thing happened and again I couldn't find the lens because Gary had insisted on a very light tint that made it impossible to see except on a white surface. This time, Gary said he could not replace the lens even if I paid. Since the lens was part of my spare set I did wait to get the replacement as I was busy. A few days ago I finally got around to getting the lens from the contact lens person at my eye doctor's office. I gave him the measurements that were written on the back of the case I had from Contex. The optician said the Contex measurements were "way off" what they had. I picked up the new lens from my eye doctor and what a difference. I can't even tell that I have a lens in my eye. It's comfortable and stays in place. So buyer beware when it comes to Contex. Poor quality product and even worse customer service.
