This church offers a lot of varying worship experiences. If you are college or just out of college there is a great Sunday night service (actually I think there are 3) called the Flood. Its pretty amped up and loud but seems to have a good amount of folks who are in the same age range looking for church life. They also offer the more traditional ministries to kids, students and older folks with the traditional worship style on Sunday mornings.

Welcoming Christian church community
I have been to many churches where the atmosphere is less than it should be, with insular congregations reluctant to include outsiders. College Avenue Baptist Church is like a breath of fresh air. I particularly enjoy the Flood services on Sunday evenings. The views they take tend toward liberal, and they have a strong commitment to making a difference in the world in a way that matters physically as well as spiritually.

The New Age Church For Everyone
College Avenue Baptist is a church that sort of falls under the new age church category. With services that not only cater to young people, but also to people of all ages, their specific goal is to reach the next generations. They have traditional services that regular church goers will enjoy, but they also have a special series of services known as The Flood that caters specifically to the new, hip generation. It is churches like College Avenue Baptist that try to get the young people, the next generation into the churches, and you really have to commend them for their efforts. Whether you are 2, 22, or 102, there is something at College Avenue Baptist for you.
