DO NOT RENT HERE!!! YOU WILL HATE IT!!! This is the ABSOLUTE WORST apartment living experience I have EVER had in my entire life! The apartments are run down, overpriced, and then they stick you with added utilities for "common areas", which in my opinion should be what the outrageous rent should cover! Any maintenance requests take a minimum of a month and many many follow ups to actually get accomplished. The first apartment we moved into had rotted floors, an air conditioning system that didn't work for crap, water pouring in the chimney, loud neighbors, and the noise level by the entrance was ridiculous because there's no thickness or insulation to the walls that keep any form of noise out. The floors felt like I was walking on an old rickety wooden bridge that was held together with rusty nails and frayed ropes. So they moved us into another apartment on the other side of the complex. Now, because we caused enough complaints with the first apartment, we are being picked on by the management for stupid stuff like "Personal items on the front patio area." We have a standard table and chairs on our front patio, just like many of the other apartments around us. And in talking to the neighbors, no one else got letters! One of the selling points of moving into the new apartment, due to the old apartment being CRAP, was the fact that there was a water line hooked up to the ice maker. Connie, the manager, specifically stated that since the water line was already installed, that she would have the maintenance manager leave the line in for us. Upon the walk through, we noticed it wasn't there and were told that it would be reinstalled for us. This never happened, so we reinstalled one ourselves. NOW, Connie is saying that she never told us it would be there. LIES! We are constantly getting the runaround, and our rent is going up and up and up due to these "common area utilities". DO NOT RENT HERE!!! YOU WILL HATE IT!
