Nice, friendly, good value, good food
This is the kind of neighborhood place you love. The food has been consistently good for the many years we've been coming here. The place is small, prices reasonable, service friendly, can get busy on weekend mornings, but that's a good sign! You can bring the kids, they have beer for adults. Small, with equally small but adequate parking off street, but plenty of street parking available.Amazing Mexican Food
I have tried all types of Mexican food all over LA (Guelaguetza, Border Grill, Gallego Brothers, El Tepeyac), and this is some of the best and freshest I have ever had. The salsa and guacamole are rich and fresh. The tamales are not greasy at all, and the meat in the tamales and enchiladas is deliciously marinated. My achilles heel is the fried tacos, though; they are fantastic. The best thing of all is the price. My girlfriend and I got 2 tamales, 2 tacos, 4 enchiladas, 1 quesadilla, and a side of guacamole for $23! If the area was better and it wasn't such a drive from Venice, we'd be over there every week.chico's is the best
This is the best mexican food I have found in los angeles. We eat here weekly. The food is fresh, made to order, and fantastic. It's a humble little place, but the service is always great. Their sauces are home made, and the salsa and guacamole is killer.Giant Burritos! Great price.
This casual restaurant serves up the freshest salsa and guacamole in town. Watch out for the habneros sometimes! They have a nice selection of beer to cool down your mouth. The burritos are huge and worth every penny. Awesome enchiladas too.Worldwide > United States > Los Angeles, CA > Tex-Mex Restaurants
