Pretty Good
Okay, had i read the reviews on here i would have thought twice about going. I received a gift certificate. Like some of the other reviews, there was a snotty receptionist at the front desk, but sitting next to another very nice one. My stylist was also the owner. He was very nice, professional and explained everything to me and why. He did not push his salon's products on me.

A Great Massage
I got a gift certificate for a massage. Kathy was wonderful. She took the time to explain what she was going to do. I felt very comfortable. She asked to make sure the pressure was just right, which it was.I was so relaxed and de-stressed when she was done. It was exactly what I needed after such a rough week.I would absolutely recommend her. I already booked my next appointment before I left.

Over the years it just keeps going down hill!!!
I have been to charisma about 7 or 8 times in the last 5 years. Sometimes for hair and for massage. I have no complaints about my massages, but my hair has been over proseced, and literally falling out of my head in handfulls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know i am not a regular client, but I keep thinking this time will be different, (my sister loves Dolly) Now when I call I can not get an appointment with Dolly, she is to busy. So I give up. The last time i was there, the front desk totally ignored me, and had a five minute conversation, before they acknowledged me!!! I'm sorry, but im going to give my money to PROFESSIONALS!!!!!!

Nothing at this establishment is handled professionally. Atmosphere is by no means comforting. Expensive with poor quality result. Does not value clients or employees.

The best in the metro Detroit area hands down
I found Charisma on WDIV Click On 4 Best of Detroit - The staff at Charisma is very friendly, efficient, and very helpful. Nicole, my eyebrow waxing specialist at Charisma, is the best in the metro Detroit area hands down. I have never come across another person who comes close to her and the job she does! She is very friendly, professional, and enthusiastic about what she does. She makes you feel comfortable and is always focused on you. She definitely makes you look your best and I would recommend her to everyone!

Stay away from Charisma Salon. 1) When I scheduled my haircut I asked how much it would cost for a cut...I was told $35.00. When I checked out it was $45.00 and I did not even have my hair styled/dried. What a joke. 2) I was not even in the chair for FIVE minutes and the hairstylest had five products lined up in front of me as "MUST HAVES". She spent 45 minutes with me and only 10 minutes was cutting...the rest was selling product. 3) When I checked out I wanted to put my tip on my credit card. I was told that I could not and I had to pay cash or write a check. That would have been nice to know ahead of time as I did not have cash. I was told by the kid at the front desk to go to the ATM in the mall. I would not recomment this place to anyone. Save your money. I don't make $45 in 45 minutes...why should I pay someone that much to trim my hair and not style it?? Women need to stand up to these high priced salons...$45 for a haircut....really!

Got an awesome haircut!
I went up to Michigan because of my hubby work. And for the weekend we had scheduled a friend's birthday party and family meeting, I, wanting to look flawless for the occasion, decided to get a haircut and a blow dry. Due to short time and roads covered of snow we looked for the closest salon to our hotel.
