Ellen is the best!!!!!
I have been going to Ellen since 2007 for waxing and facials. I found her from an article in Allure magazine ...and have been going there ever since. The front desk staff especially Michelle are also great to deal with!

Treat yourself!
This is one of the first spas I've been to where I actually real relaxed and refreshed when I'm done, not stressed out and angry. The staff is great and very kind. The prices are very fair so you don't feel like you've been cheated. You definitely get your money's worth for this one. I would recommend going here yourself or getting some of your friends together for a day of facials.

Very relaxing
I was treated to a trip to this spa recently and had a blast. I left feeling very rejuvenated and relaxed. The staff are friendly, the atmostphere is calming and the facials are great. The place did wonders for my skin and I will definitely be going back again.

Relaxing Spa treat
I love this spa. I have gone here a number of times for massages and have always been happy. The staff is great. They make you feel relaxed and welcomed. I went for pre-natal massages and they were wonderful. I have yet to have a bad experience. Anyone would be lucky to go here for a day of beauty.

LOUD TALKING
I just came back from the best massage ever by Lauren! Although it was NOT peaceful. There was extremely loud talking outside my door almost the entire time- could you believe it was the owner carrying on and on about skin care? Very nice. I have never been so tense at a massage in my life. She stopped talking for 10 minutes then started up again. I asked two times for her to please keep it down. Then when I left my room - she was standing outside and gave me a look up and down. She is not the only spa in Michigan. I will definitely take my business elsewhere. Carol does a great job in hiring a knowledgeable staff, but should really check her attitude at the door. A spa is a service business and only keeps in business by people who visit the salon. Shouldn't the clients be treated with respect? The girl at the front desk gave me a discount of $20. It broke my heart to still pay $90 for the stressful atmosphere. Too bad I couldn't just give the money directly to my massage lady. She wo

Bring your money because they want it.
I called to find out about the facilities and had some questions about the services offered but before the woman wanted to hear that she insisted I tell her how much I would spend. When I said $100 she said I wouldn't get much. I don't like being pressured into spending more money and she made me feel ridiculous for calling.

Ellen is wonderful
I have had services performed by Ellen, and she's not only a wonderful aestetician, she's an interesting person to speak with! The service is top-notch, but yes, it's not cheap. They do have a lot to offer, though. The only real complaint I have is, the parking situation there is awful - you have to walk two blocks from a parking structure to get in there. Downtown BAH-ming-ham is a pain in the rear that way!

Sub-par Waxing
Went here for a bikini wax, but was disappointed after spending $60 (with tip) and receiving a barely average wax job. The place was nice but small, and the service was decent but a little overpriced. Although the girl was nice, she seemed to rush through the job. Wouldn't go back here any time soon.
