NEW YORKS BEST KEPT SECRET!
I went to Caffe Torino upon advice from my friend. What a great suprise. Nice design. Beautiful garden.. Fun party room. I had my birthday party there this year and the whole experience was great! Suggested this place to four of my friends who have all had their parties as well. This is our favorite restaurant in all of New York! The new owners are amazing. Keep up the good work guys.FANTASTIC FOR PARTIES... CAFFE TORINO!
Had a party at Caffe Torino for 75 people recently. The party room was fantastic! We were able to decorate ourselves (which is hard to come by in NYC) and was allowed anything on the menu for my guests. Prices were extremely reasonable and the service was amazing. I would recommend anyone to have a party there. Love that place... Caffe Torino.Excellent Experience
Food, was very good. Service was courteous and professional. Wine List was moderatly priced. Atmosphere was old world comfortable and trendy. I walked in and instantly thought, "A Cozy Little Nook." Overall a very good experience, and have earned my future patronage.Great food, TERRIBLE service
I love the food but the service was terrible! I had my birthday dinner there with a party of 8 and the service was horrible! The waiter took forever to get take our order, to bring our entrees, forgot to refill our water more than 3x, forgot forks/spoons with our desserts, and he took forever to bring us our check!!! The food is delicious and the family size entrees are a great deal (serves 4 people easily). I would go back if the service was not so bad!!!used to have best tiramisu - but now it's closed...
this used to be one of our favorite restaurants- friendly service, reasonible prices and delicious food. the updated the decor recently. However- many of the regular staff had left on our last visit in april 2007, the new staff was sparce and less attentive. food was still good, but we were dissapointed and have not gone back for a while so the new owners could improve- It looks like the opposite occured either the new owners were not interested in keeping the restaurant going, or couldn't make it work for them.. not sure. a friend recently pased by and noticed it was closed with a health dept notice... (other restaurants we reccoment- Arte CAfe uptown, or Intermesso in the village- with similar type of food... we'll miss thisplace (and our favorite waiter Claudio from the earlier staff)Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Cafes, Coffee, and Coffee Houses
