If I could give it ZERO stars I would. The Café Metro located on 839 7th Ave, New York is the absolute worst. It's bad enough that the lines are so unorganized but then you have the staff who are absolutely nasty and rude. The cooks and Kenia (cashier) in particular. I will never go back there because of how uncomfortable she's made me feel by being snotty and laughing with her coworkers and looking at me. I've witnessed in the past employees arguing amongst one another IN PUBLIC with customers around and on another occasion, I witnessed an employee argue with a bystander that got in their way on the street. Great way to represent their company! That's customer service for someone who has been going there for years?! The employees have an attitude as if we (the customers) owe them. Umm hello, you have a job because of people like myself (customer). This wasn't the first time but I finally had enough. I called the manager to complain and at first refused to give me his name and then finally did. He said it was Gene or Genie but that could be a lie because he mumbled it. He gave me an attitude, which explains why his staff would have one - lead by example, right?! This location has ZERO customer value, appreciation or customer service. I wouldn't waste your time going there - unless you want to be mistreated, then knock yourself out.
