Butler's in the old Love Hotel
For those delighting in historical nostalgia, this is one of the neat places to go in Purcell. Butler's Antiques is located in the old Love Hotel, a pre-statehood hotel in this pre-land run town. You can browse from the sitting room to the bedrooms, read bits of local history as you're searching for just that right antique for your collection. Neat place to go!

A neat place with even neater people!
We stumbled into Butler's Antiques when we pulled off Interstate35 looking for somewhere to stretch our legs on a drive from Wichita to Dallas. What a neat place! That stretch of the legs resulted in two terrific finds. The antiques are displayed in this old historic hotel in a neat, easy to browse way with plenty of space to turn around and lift and examine everything. This is not the dust-filled, cluttered stores we find elsewhere. The owners, Jerry and Elaine, are the nicest people who are happy to share the delightful history of the Hotel Love, which they have lovingly turned into their home and antique store. The selection is wonderful and the prices are better! Whether you’re headed north or south, it’s easy to get off and back onto the interstate without any back-tracking at all so visit this terrific stop in Purcell, Oklahoma. I highly recommend it!
