Cannoli!!!!
This restaurant is known for its pizza but has by far the best cannoli in Charlotte. I highly recommend the salads as well. The antipasto salad could be a meal all by itself.YUMMY!!!
Thier pizza is fantastic!!! They also have oragno and other spices on the table for you to add to it. We tried this place because they offered a free pizza in our home welcome kit. We will be back plenty more times. The food is great, the service is great and you just feel welcomed there! YUM!!Best Pizza
Best Pizza in town hands down. Sometimes I crave this store so bad. My husband would eat here every day but its a little pricey i think thats the only issue! Sometimes they have specials.Great food, fair service
Brooklyn South has excellent pizza, AMAZING garlic knots, and decent pasta selection. My only complaint is that on high traffic days the kitchen often runs VERY behind. Last time we were there we waited 45 minutes for a 1/2 cheese 1/2 pepperoni pizza.Good Pizza, poor service
The pizza here is excellent. The customer service is less than desirable. Standing and waiting 15 minutes for an order that was called in and ready, just getting cold because there was only one order taker at the counter. This was during lunch service at noon. The other order taker was outside chatting it up with her friends instead of helping. Pizza is excellent but a bit on the pricy side, after all its just flour, water, sauce and cheese. If dining in, the order process is SLOW. If you come there knowing what you want but a party ahead of you has no clue to what a pizzeria serves, you could be in for a lengthy wait just to order. Staff seems annoyed if you need extra napkins or a drink refill.A Taste of Brooklyn in the South!!
Coming from the New York area, it was refreshing to get a taste of home in the south. Their stuffed pizza is awesome!!!! If you want to try something a little different go with the buffalo wing pizza (my favorite)!! A great place to eat in, they have a wonderful patio area outside. The only drawback is no delivery.Sub at BSP
Following it?s already exemplary reputation, Brooklyn South lived up to expectations once again. Their subs harkened to a cold winter day in the North East, when the only thing that you have to look forward to is that delectable sandwich at lunch. I chose to go with the ?cold? version of the Bronx Bomber, and everything blended together beautifully; but what really makes a good sandwich, such as the one I just ate, is the bread. I am not sure where BS gets their bread, but they should be thankful everyday that they have this connection. The bread was crusty on the outside and soft in the middle, just to my liking. The Bronx Bomber contained all the good things you would expect on a quality Italian sub, with a homemade Italian dressing which brought everything together. As the Mayor of Tasteville I can confidently recommend sandwiches at Brooklyn South, and I give them a 9.5 out of 10 on the taste-o-meter.This is really Part II
Being from the Buffalo area I?ve had a lot of slices of ?Buffalo? pizza in my day, and I am always wary when I see my city in the title of a piece of food. I can honestly say that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pizza. The sauce had a good spice, and the combination of all the ingredients left a very good feeling in my palette. I ordered a side of blue cheese with my pizza for dipping purposes, and I?m happy to report that Brooklyn South Pizza knows what constitutes a good blue cheese, which is surprisingly hard to find in this area. My only complaint with the pizza was the fact that the name said Buffalo WING Pizza, but the meat was in actuality cooked chicken breast. In this day and age everybody know what they are getting when an order is placed for a Buffalo food item, but I feel that if wing is in the title there should be actual wing meat on the pizza, which is a very difficult process.Oh where to begin...
We try to get up to Brooklyn South whenever we can - food is amazing, atmosphere is great, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. Their pizza is out of this world, just about as close to something you'd find in a pizzeria on a corner in New York City somewhere. Their cannolis and Italian cookies (not sure whether they make them in house or get them from a bakery, but who cares, lol) are AWESOME, we make sure to get some whenever we go. Brooklyn South just catered a large function at our church as well - they were wonderful to work with to get all the details down, and the food was spectacular, we got rave reviews from everyone who attended. Chicken parm, baked ziti, garlic knots, salad, and Italian cookies were served and everyone attacked the food as soon as it got there. All I can say is YUM. Make sure to visit whenever you're in Cornelius!!!!A disappointment
Went there three times. The first time I was there, there was a waitress putting the numbers on the pizzas as they were placed on the waiter/waitress bar awaiting delivery. She constantly caughed into the pizzas. Getting over this nasty experience the first time, went back to give them a second chance and thought the pizza was average. The third time I got a pizza to go and decided that their pizzas were not good enough to ever go back. I have found a good pizza place not foo far from South Brooklyn. As close to NY pizza as you can get!
Very nice atmosphere, good food, and nice staff working. Very inexpensive for the quality of food. There are always specials and new items to try. Staff is always very patient and friendly!Rude Servers/Lousy Food!
Don't bother wasting a dime here. Wait staff/cashiers lacked customer service and friendliness. Food was overpriced for lunch (They do not have a lunch menu, only a few lunch specials). Calazone was a burnt ball with a wad of three scant toppings in the middle. Too many other options are out there for decent food for the price. The Mooresville location is MUCH better!Worldwide > United States > Cornelius, NC > Pizza
