Great Bridal Bouquet!

BJ helped me put together a last minute bridal bouquet of red roses for my last minute wedding/elopement. The flowers were absolutely gorgeous and ready for us when we picked them up. Everyone complimented the flowers which made me relax even more for the big event. I would highly recommend!!

Fantastic!!!!

If I could have given the staff anything more than a 'highly recommended' rating I would. This is a great little local business with brilliant designs and tasteful contemporary style. These guys can pull off massive corporate events as well as a tiny bouquet for your sweetie with equal grace and finesse. Understated or exuberant designs, they can do anything and you'll know your business really counts to them.

Bad Delivery

They are irresponsible when delivering the flowers. The person that was supposed to get the flowers I ordered never got them. And when I called them about it they couldnt tell me who signed for the flowers. That was $60 down the drain.

Awful wedding florist

I chose Bouquets at Southglenn for my wedding flowers due to their impressive reputation for making incredible floral arrangements. From the beginning, the wedding florist, John Turner was extremely arrogant and rude. (My understanding is that he coordinates wedding florals for all Bouquets locations). He rattled off the exact number of however many weddings he's done flowers for and insisted that he could produce the most beautiful flowers in town.

I knew exactly what I wanted. He seemed receptive to that and mailed me an invoice listing the items I needed with the flowers, colors and styles I desired. Later, I asked him what types of accent flowers we could do in my bouquet. He acted extremely annoyed and told me not to worry about the details, that it would look pretty. I just wanted input on what kinds of flowers were going to be in my bridal bouquet!

When my husband, brother, and brother-in-law went to pick up the flowers on the wedding day, the flowers in the bouquets were totally dying, brown and wilted. If three men were appalled at the quality of the flowers, you know it's bad. They told the florist that the bouquets did not look good, and they told him just to give it a few hours and they would "open up." The flowers were already totally open and DYING. They were just being lazy and my husband had to push for them to re-make them. We had to send someone rushing back to pick up new bouquets 20 minutes before our pictures started.

The new bouquets were not at all what I had asked for. They put ugly filler in the bridesmaids' bouquets and made them into a really long and tall fountain-like arrangement, when they were supposed to have just three standard calla lilies bunched together.

My bouquet was supposed to have seven standard calla lilies with a small amount of accent flowers. Instead, it had 15 small calla lilies that were drowned by a lot of filler flowers and big green leaves that overwhelmed the bouquet so you couldn't see the callas. The stems were WAY too short; difficult for me to carry, contrary to the bridesmaids' bouquets, which were way too long and awkward for my petite bridesmaids. The silk wrap on my bouquet was loose and there were no pearl pins securing it like I had specifically asked for, and the bow was completely wrong. I wanted a simple shoelace bow and the one I got was the kind that is used on gift wrap.

The invoice that John gave me months ago spelled out all of these details that I wanted. Furthermore, when I met with him in person, I brought pictures showing exactly what I wanted since he refused to show me any photos or live examples of other bouquets he had made. The only option he gave me was to pay for him to make an exact replica of my bouquet. I asked him if he wanted to keep the photos (these included calla lily bouquets arranged the way I wanted them, the filler flower I wanted, examples of the silk wrap with pearl pins, the correct stem and wrap length, and the shoelace bow that I wanted). He barely glanced at the photos and told me he did not need to keep them.

At the end of the day, Bouquets tried to push really poor quality flowers on us, and when they re-did our bouquets, the florists took it upon themselves to make whatever the hell they wanted to make with no respect for what I had explicitly asked for.

I am extremely disappointed. I had specific sentimental reasons for wanting the bouquets the way I did. The flowers and even the bow had special significance to me from previous arrangements my husbad had given me when we were dating.

Had I known this was the quality or treatment I would receive, I would not have wasted over $400 at Bouquets. I would have gone to another florist where I would have gotten fresh flowers arranged the way I wanted them, without a stuck-up attitude and rude behavior along the way.

I will NEVER recommend Bouquets, and I highly suggest that you avoid them at all costs.
