Working for that great body
All women gym, great machines, tanning booths and shower facilities. The showers are always being moniter for being clean and stock with whatever you need. No men hanging around this workout location. Machines are in great working condition. Clean and organized gym. Childcare available too a great price.Great location and parking. Close to Capital Blvd. and South Main Street which sometimes can have traffic problems. Not the place to join
I've been disappointed with this gym. The hours are not convenient and have gotten even shorter since I joined. The childcare is fine if you have babies or toddlers, but my first grader refuses to go - not designed for older kids. The machines on the floor are okay, but the cycle bikes are very old and several are either broken or need adjustment. You won't find the same level of professionalism from this mom and pop gym that you'll get with other places. And apart from a cheap joining fee, the monthly fee is not all that different from what you would pay at a gym with a pool, more classes, better equipment, and courteous management. Regret joining.Mom and Pop Gym Not Professional
The owners of this facility view this gym as their own and not as a place of business with paying patrons. It is the strangest thing...they treat the gym like their living room. They do not want any one using the equipment or making a mess. Since it is a family owned business the mother daughter team always take up for each other and the customer is ALWAYS wrong. During my membership not one piece of new equipment was purchased. I signed a 3 year contract. There are too many other workout facilities in the area to waste your time with this one.Great gym!
I have been a member of this gym for 2 years—and go a minimum of twice each week. It is a great gym with a good selection of equipment including cardio, spinning, weight machines, free weights and resistance. It is kept exceptionally clean, and personally I don’t understand the “mom and pop†reviews. There is childcare and tanning available as well. There are numerous classes, excellent personal trainers available and the staff is very friendly. This gym is an excellent choice for women.Love this GYM
I paid for a 1 yr membership..One thins I love about the sign up was it was just a yr. They don't automatically enroll you like other gyms do. They send you a reminder if you want to sign up for another yr..They are a family owned business and they are very nice and do value you as a customer.I would recommend them..yes I have been to may gyms and felt very intimidated..not here..They are also very personable and great with anything you need...Get to know the owners ..They may treat it like their home because they give it as much tender loving care as there home..WRITTEN DRS NOTE
I have been with body works for ladies for almost a 1 yr. They are no different then any other gym I have come across as far as having medical problems and not being able to get out of a contract even with a drs note.I had major surgery in dec of 09..i then froze my account for 2 months prior to surgery i was told I had no choice by my dr ..then i had almost lost my life so further surgery had to be done.i then called them again and froze for an additional month..I tryed to go back then developed heart problems so any cardio activity made my heart jump went in with a written drs note in July of 09. From a heart specialist stating i could not attend the gym under condtion i was...which right then should have stopped until dr said i could come back..they instead too money out of my account in aug which created n over draft..exceeding 0ver 80.00...wow that was good for helping my heart out? i called both owners on it then they make excuses just like all gyms do....they froze it for1 monWorldwide > United States > Wake Forest, NC > Gyms and Fitness
