Bells Nurses Agency is unorganized, condescending, and unprofessional. I only recommend working here if you are in a tight bind. Under their employment you work 12 hours a day, which at first sounds great until you are told what your income will be. And half the time it will be LESS. A 12 hour shift is not guaranteed. Your case could be dismissed during your shift or even before. A patient does not have a time card so they can be discharged from the facility or transported to another area. Bells Agency does NOT always inform when this happens. Why? 1) Either the management where you are assigned has not called them yet 2) It was not in either the facility's or Bells' system - EVEN if you call ahead to make sure you are on their schedule 3) Bells likes to toy with you Also, a week day shift is never guaranteed either. When the agency does take the time to let you know your case has been "cancelled" - albeit it can be WITHIN AN HOUR OF YOUR SHIFT - they make sure it is a weekday so (because of your low income) you have to work during the weekend. So make sure your social life consists of friends and family who can make time for you after work. If you want to address any of you issues with Bells make sure you talk in a low and slow manner. They will be quick to shut you down and imply (or flat out say) you are lazy and incompetent. The Agency's employees are disposal so make sure you pick your battles wisely. If you're an insomniac this position may be great for because god help you if you close your eyes for more than five seconds. If you are caught sleeping during your shift, you will immediately be sent home no matter what time - 9PM, 3 AM, anytime. You will not be able to return back to the facility the agency has placed you, so keep your eyes open because who knows when they will place you in another rehabilitation center, nursing home or hospital. During your shift, the employees at the facilities you are assigned to will watch you like a hawk! Some are nice and will give you a warning but, because you are seen as a possible threat to their income, they normally give a tap or two on your shoulder (depending on how hard you sleep) and kick you out. A 12 hour shift is difficult to get accustomed to. A 12 hour shift with patients, who will sometimes physically or verbally assault you, is terrible. A 12 hour shift with less than $11/hr and no benefits is heart breaking. FUCK BELLS AND YOUR DUMB ASS MANAGEMENT WHO DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO BASIC DATA-ENTRY, COMMUNICATE (WITH ANYONE), NOR KEEP THE DIGNITY OF A WORK-PLACE DUECES YOU RACHET ASS BITCHES
