Great Studio
The instructors here are among the best I've experienced. The classes take place in spacious studios with ample light.relaxed atmosphere and the best teachers around
This formerly Be Yoga studio is welcoming and unpretentious while still having amazing, challenging, yet supportive teachers, gotta love it!New Standard for Yoga
The quality of the teaching is unparalelleled. If you really want to learn how to be strong and avoid injury in every pose this the studio for you. Beginners and advanced students will benefit from the attention to detail in every class. Plus they have Yoga Advisors to help you create a program that will meet your goals.Amazing classes and teachers... sweet studio
I love this studio... totally unpretentious yet still a cool place to practice. The teachers are so amazing and the level of attention was awesome. I even had my own Yoga Advisor to help me! It was a great way to get started... and now I am hooked.Excellent prenatal class
Babyworks prenatal yoga workshop is a good place to begin learning prenatal yoga before attending regularly scheduled classes. Bridget Shields is excellent.Wonderful Yoga studio with different classes for different levels and at different times.
The place is right around Union Sq. Convenient Location. There are 2 rooms in the studio and both are very charming. The classes are different, so you can pick what fits you, your time and your level. The instructors are all very knowleadgeble and nice. The atmospshere is great.Best Yoga in Union Square area
I've checked out classes at Om, Jivamukti, The Shala, Laughing Lotus and Integral Yoga. Out of all of these places, I think Yoga Works is the best. Their classes are challenging, but at the same time teachers are really good about explaining technique. When I take classes at other places in the area, I find that they rush through and the technique is terrible - which is not as effective out and may even result in injury. A lot of the teachers are very experienced and learned at Yoga Works in CA (where it's the top school). You'll find out pretty quickly which teachers are best. The downside is that they only have 2 classrooms. They don't offer as many classes as some of the bigger schools. Evening and weekend classes can be crowded and they don't have good changing rooms. The unlimited monthly rate is a great deal, but even if it were more, I don't think I would go anywhere else.Location location location
I must agree that this is a prime location for myself and many others. I love escaping the busy city life to this calm and serene place.Downtown-Dirty
The studio is dusty, the mats have hair on them. Wheew.GREAT PRENATAL
I am 23 weeks pregnant and just started going to prenatal yoga. I had to stop my regular classes at the gym bc the poses got to difficult for me. I def recommend the Tuesday and Thursday afternoon classes. i felt like a million bucks after Left and the pricing for the center is pretty reasonable.Worldwide > United States > New York, NY > Active Life
