Outstanding Design

After reading some of the negative reviews, I was a little hesitant to even go by this store. But I am so glad I did. What my husband and I found was a beautiful showroom, wonderful sales representative (yay, David!), skilled decorators...Bassett in Raleigh Stinks!
Bassett Furniture Direct in Raleigh does not even rate 1 star. Their customer service is so bad that they won't even answer the phones or return messages left. The store was recently "bought out" by their corp company, who are now left...Manager at Farmingdale sucks!!!!
Their furniture is great but their customer service stinks!! Especially at the Farmingdale store. I think the name of the Manager at that store is Penelope...she is horrible. My son's fiance' bought furniture from them and is still...Bassett Furniture delivers slow and is not customer service oriented

Purchased a credenza on 3/28/10. Told it would be 30 days before delivery. 4/1/10 called to cancel the furnture order and was told no cancellation are allowed on special orders. This piece of furniture was on the floor. Spoke to...Horrible
I thought it was only the Bassett In Louisville KY. This store is horrible as well. I have a horribly made 3k piece of garbage couch. I called a week after I had it and they dont care. My couch has horrible wrinkles in the fabric and it started from week one. I called to tell them about it and they dont care, The customer service people are horrible and the store manager says he has nothing to do with this issue?! Your the manager of the store how does this issue not matter to you? They dont care as a matter of fact with the Better Business gave them a D rating! They RIP YOU OFF. I think they take pride in a D rating from the Better Business!great store
I absolutly love my furniture. I was quoted 3-6 weeks for delivery and everything came in 4 weeks. Would highly recomend to anyone. Outstanding quality and even better service. Thanks BassettWorst Furniture Store Ever
We bought a couch in Bassett about 5 years ago, the fabric came undone. After 4 months of fighting, endless lies from the "Customer Service Manager" and 3 repairs they replaced the couch. We never should have gone back, but we did. I bought new bedroom furniture in Jan. It arrived 6 weeks later dirty and damaged. We called our salesperson, he assured us it would be taken care of, just accept delivery. HUGE MISTAKE!! The repair tech informed us that they would not replace the furniture even if it was in pieces, they repair everything. They wanted to come into my brand new home with equipment and repair my very expensive furniture. I called Peter Davis and told him I wanted new furniture and he said they would repair it only. I told him if they were going to repair it, they needed to discount they price. Not 1st quality=discount. He informed me he wouldn't do anything else. Mr Davis was rude, and is a poor excuse for a customer service manager. Buyer beware, don't end up with expensive furniture damaged or full of wood filler.Basset bedroom set

I have never written a negative review before, but I needed to warn people to stay away from this store!!! I purchased furniture, and after being charged in full and told to expect my furniture in 3-4 weeks, I had to track down customer service after 8 weeks, only to find out that they could not get the items! They then offered me store credit instead of a refund! I had to insist on a refund, as their customer service told me there was no way to know that they couldnt get the furniture - so it wasnt their fault!
