Terrible Service Call
I had a tech come out to my house and look at my air conditioning unit. He explained that the fan in the air handler was broken. He said that they do not make my fan any more, and I was going to have to replace the whole unit, inside and out. I asked the price, and I was quoted over $4000. I eventually got the guy to say that they could replace the air handler and every thing would fine, down to $2410. I had another company, Florida's Choice come out and take a look at my system. It took the guy 5 minutes to tell that me all the only thing wrong was a bad cap ($45 for the part). $120 for the entire visit and my air is ice cold. Pretty funny that National wanted to replace my whole system without a blink of an eye. Do not ever use this company.

I had a new heat pump system installed. I have nothing but the greatest satisfaction of having this new system in my home.' I have been doing business with national for quite a few years now. As far as I'm concerned, as long as National is in business I'll be in service. I wouldn't even think of calling anyone else. National is a team effort, and still like a family. I can't say enough about the staff, starting with stefanie who answers the phone to mark and on the down the line. My hats is off to everyone there. I will give this company a modest 5 stars.

Taking advantage of the eldery.....
First of all, National Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing called and told my father-in-law that they wanted to come out and do a FREE INSPECTION of his heat and air conditioning unit. My father-in-law, being 80 years old, agreed and once the tech(s) arrived, he informed my father-in-law that his air unit was shot and needed to be replaced. This is the first unfair tactic: There was nothing wrong with the unit. It is checked weekly by me and it was working perfectly. Unit was removed at time of new installation, so no proof. The second problem I have with this company is that upon checking with other air conditioning contractors in the area, My father-in-law was overcharged between $1,500.00 to $2,000.00 for this air unit. Placing a call to this business is also a joke. It's clear that National Heating, Air Conditioning & Plumbing used unfair telephone soliciation tactics, overcharged a senior citizen, and replaced an air conditioning unit that did not need to be replaced.
