Sensei Richard Cespedes and his experienced team of Instructors have been serving the city of San Clemente for over 20 years. In that time, they have been voted “Best Martial Arts School in Orange County” by the Orange County Register’s OC Magazine 9 times, voted Best Martial Arts Studio in San Clemente 2014 by “Best of San Clemente” People’s Choice Ole Awards and have won the USSD Grand Championship Tournament 10 times in a row.

MARTIAL ARTS STYLES

USSD Martial Arts San Clemente offers Kempo as it’s main style which is a very balanced combination of traditional Japanese Karate, emphasizing basic principles such as self-control, self-discipline, respect, and self-esteem; and Chinese Kung-Fu which will later add more refined and accurate techniques to the already solid basics. Jiu-Jitsu is also incorporated into the Kempo training, using ground-fighting techniques to make the self-defense more practical and well-rounded.

SCHEDULE

USSD Martial Arts San Clemente is open 6 days a week and offers flexible training schedules, making it easy for you to train and progress through the ranks at your own pace.

GROUP CLASSES

Group Instruction consists of students close to the same age and ability. The classes are one hour long and feature self-defense instruction, physical conditioning, various reaction drills, and training exercises designed to increase the skills necessary for effective self-defense.
