Many seniors would benefit from physical and occupational therapy services to help them regain and retain their functional independence and state of wellness. For those who do not meet the "homebound" criteria necessary for reimbursement of home care services, receiving skilled physical therapy can be difficult. Lack of transportation or the distractions and fast pace of an out-patient practice may prevent access to high quality, effective services.

Elderfit is a therapy practice developed to focus on the wellness and rehabilitation needs of seniors in Orange, Durham, Eastern Alamance, and Northern Chatam counties. We provide individualized skilled therapy services in your home that are reimbursable under Medicare Part B as long as they meet the necessary criteria. We also work with Medicare/Medicaid and other insurances with pre-authorization. Physician approval is recommended for treatment.

Contacting this location is strictly for those seeking treatment that can be provided in the home. This is provided as an alternative to out-patient physical therapy in a clinic setting. Hours are by appointment only, with appointments made by availability of staff.
